Xena: "I'd cut out your sweetheart's throat. You think I wouldn't?"
Borias: "No, I mean I'm in love with you."
Xena: "With me? Have you lost what's left of your mind? People like you and me don't fall in love...not with each other, anyway."

Xena: "You and your alliances didn't do us much good in Chin."
Borias: "We did alright in Chin. We would have done better if it wasn't for your unquenchable lust for power."
Xena: "I thought you liked my unquenchable lust?"
Borias: "Well, it does have its good points."

Borias: "Xena, what are you doing? A shamaness like her can only be trouble."
Xena: "I like trouble."

Borias: "You're killing people to help that demon cast spells?"
Xena: "C'mon, Borias, after all the people we've killed, what's one more corpse?"
Xena: "That was some nice talking, Borias. I'll give you that ... oh come on, you really don't think I'm gonna let you punish me, do you?"
Borias: "You went directly against my plan. You almost ruined everything. Trying to assassinate her was idiotic."
Xena: "You're right. She's much too tough to die. We should definitely hang with her for a while. Besides, she's got some fighting techniques I just gotta learn."
